Junaid Iqbal graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a degree in Financial Economics. He previously worked as an Energy Trader with American Electric Power, and established Pakistan’s first stock market show on Geo TV.

In addition, he served at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as Head of Financial Analysis /Official Spokesperson, setting up an in-house analytics division and representing SECP in the Senate and the National Assembly.

Mr. Iqbal was also CNBC Pakistan’s Head of Research and the host of its flagship shows Power Lunch.

AMMAR VALIKA

Head of Business Development & Institutional Investments

Mr. Ammar Valika graduated from McGill University, Canada with a degree in Economics & Business Management.

His previous experience includes a position as Senior Consultant for Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates (Pvt.) Ltd. (Watson Wyatt Pakistan), one of the country’s leading management consultants. During his tenure with SHMA he worked on projects for various clients including The World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, Microsoft, State Bank of Pakistan and the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan. .He has also led teams and managed end-to-end projects for various national and multinational organizations.

Mr. Valika has extensive experience in project management, portfolio analysis, industry research, and developing marketing strategies for existing and new businesses.
